LiverTrio by 1Family 1Health

LiverTrio+ was created by a Veterinarian and a Pharmacist. LiverTrioX was created by a Clinical Pharmacist. As medical practitioners in our respective fields we came to realize the lack of an AFFORDABLE and COMPREHENSIVE liver supplement.

LiverTrio chew tablets combine S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe), L-Glutathione, Silybin Phosphatidylcholine Complex (SPC) and Silybin A+B (as part of SPC). This combination delivers a comprehensive liver supplement for humans, dogs and cats.

Chronic liver disease is characterized in most cases by a significant decrease in L- glutathione. L- glutathione is a molecule found in the liver that protects it from oxidative damage.2,3,4

During liver disease glutathione values decrease. Low glutathione levels are strongly associated with liver disease, as the liver is the primary site of glutathione production, and a deficiency in this antioxidant can significantly contribute to liver damage and progression of liver diseases like alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, and drug-induced liver injury; essentially, low glutathione in the liver indicates increased oxidative stress and potential for further cell damage.2

Proper liver function is key to maintain your body healthy and strong. In many cases, liver function is affected by external factors out of our control such as disease or congenital factors. LiverTrio can help regain some of that control back.

LiverTrio‘s combination of SAMe, SPC and Glutathione in an easy to chew tablet form, brings together three compounds that have been shown to help improve liver health, immune health and brain health. 1,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe)

SAMe oral administration has been shown to increase liver levels of L- Glutathione. 5 By increasing liver levels of L- Glutathione, SAMe initiates a cascade of processes that may help protect liver cells from death. Decreased liver cell death, leads to increased liver cell regeneration which results in improved liver function and overall improved health during LiverTrio supplementation.

In addition, SAMe has been shown to contribute to brain health by its role in increasing glutathione levels.12 There are current several studies furthering research on how glutathione influences brain health.

Silybin Phosphatidylcholine Complex (SPC)

SPC is the most potent of the flavonoids in milk thistle. In Vivo and In Vitro studies have shown SPC has liver protective properties. SPC has been shown to decrease cell oxidative damage. This in turn results in SPC contributing to the preservation of liver health and function. When administered with liver disease it  has been showed to improve liver values (ALTs/AFTs) along with increasing liver glutathione levels. 1,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

Glutathione

Glutathione is the plus “+” of LiverTrio+. Glutathione is present in all cells in the body. Glutathione is a made from the amino acids glycine, cysteine, and glutamic acid. It is produced by the liver and involved in tissue repair as well as being an integral molecule of the body’s immune system functions. 11

By adding glutathione to LiverTrio, we are ensuring that during early supplementation, this vital molecule is replenished fast. This should help to a faster recovery of liver function.

By combining S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe), L- Glutathione, Silybin A+B and Silybin Phosphatidylcholine Complex (SPC), LiverTrio provides all those raw ingredients that the liver will need to heal itself to continue living a long and healthier life.
